Panel thickness and edge thickness
These parameters determine the maximum and minimum thickness of panels and edgings that the machine can process. For versatile applications, a machine with a wide range is ideal.
Feeding speed
The speed at which panels are fed through the machine determines productivity. Higher speeds are advantageous in mass production environments, but the machine must be able to ensure quality.
Gluing method
Band gluers use different types of glue, such as EVA (standard glue), PUR (polyurethane for water resistance) and Hot-Air technology. PUR adhesive offers better adhesion and resistance to moisture, which is useful in environments such as kitchens and bathrooms.
Bend machining
Bend machining means that the machine is able to apply edge banding to curved or round panels. This is essential for producing furniture with complex shapes.
Pre-milling aggregate
A pre-milling aggregate mills the edge of the panel before applying the edge banding. This results in tighter adhesion and a better finish.
Corner rounding

Radius scrapers
